Learn to Let. OK, what the does that mean??

In previous blogs, I have written about injecting love into your thoughts, words and actions. I told you that you should be intentional about making decisions and have challenged you to make at least one decision each day based on the most loving thing that you can think, say or do.

But, choosing love is only half of the equation. After Love comes Let.

Once you have made a decision, said certain words and chosen specific actions based on

the most loving thing you can think, say, or do, then you have to let it go and not worry about it. It means to let go of it; Let it be; Let the chips fall where the may; Let God handle it from here; Let the universe do the rest; Let go of the result. You un-attach yourself from an emotional standpoint from whatever will or will not happen.

If you have trust in God, in fate, and/or in the universe that brought you to this moment in time, then you will be able to release your emotional attachment to the outcome of any decision based out of love. It’s simple: Know that the most loving thing, whatever you determine that to be, is always the decision that is most aligned with God. Once you have released positive, loving energy into the world around you, there is no reason to hope or worry about the result.  If you trust in the front side of the equation (Love), then you can find peace in the back side of the equation (Let). Then, rest easy knowing that you have chosen wisely.

One of my favorite sayings is “Love is the answer. Now, what was the question again?” Acceptance of the fact that the ‘question’ is irrelevant helps with one’s ability to release and let go of the outcome. Let go of your worries and have a little faith in good.

Have a beautiful day!

I’m thinking the Universe is trying to tell me something… this concept is a reoccurring theme. The “letting” part. A good challenge for someone who, for too long, has grasped for too much control of the end result.
