Let’s get right to the point – we are down to the last two major party candidates for presidency. A republican and a democrat. Many people have already selected their “team” or their party. Many people will support their team’s martyr with lovely arrogance and biased “fact” regurgitations. I am here to tell you that, in addition to your political party choice, they’re are additional party choices that we must decide upon. For example, I am a strong supporter of the party of Civility. We are a quieter party than our opponent the Arrogants, but we believe in having respect and tolerance for all view points. We believe that all humanity is divine and those things that differentiate us are minuscule compared to that which we have in common. We believe that it is more important to be empathetic than it is to be right. We would rather lose with grace than win without. But even in considering our opponent, the Arrogants, we are determined to provide love and kindness despite the inability to understand them. We are the party of Civility. All political views are welcome. All attitudes are not!
Let’s do a quick exercise. Please put your right hand on top of your left hand, palms together with your fingers spread, lining up your fingers evenly. Then, very slightly turn one hand so that your fingers are misaligned by just a smidge. Take a look at them. One hand represents you and the other hand represents someone with which you totally disagree. Now feel all of the common areas where your hands are touching. Feel the warmth between your palms.

Have a great and humble day!
